About Me

My name is Kevin Cassidy. I’m a graduate of Southern Illinois University’s paralegal/pre-law bachelor’s degree program. I’m currently earning an elementary education teaching master’s at Concordia University Chicago (CUC). I’ve obtained my short-term substitute teaching license in Illinois. Furthermore, I’m a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) at CUC.

I’ve completed eight courses in my major, including Teaching English Language Arts: Content, Teaching English Language Arts: Methods and Assessments, Teaching Elementary Mathematics for the 21st Century, and Characteristics and Instruction of Exceptional Learners. I also have over two years of customer service experience from working at a call center and a freight broker. In my spare time, I’m a writer with five years of experience providing client services, i.e., blog articles, copy, and resumes.

Please connect with me in regards to short-term substitute teaching and student teaching opportunities for elementary education in Dupage, Kane, and Cook County.
